The Cat That Got The Milk

A free and strange game for Mac and PC users.

If you are going to pay for this game then be careful because it was originally released for free and may not be worth you spending money on. That is not to say it is a particularly awful or unplayable game. It is just that it is a very simple puzzle game that may not be to everybody’s taste.

A Puzzle Game

You are faced with a flat puzzle and you have to work your way around the obstacles without hitting them. You are supposed to be looking down at a cat from above and the idea is to get the cat from the starting point to the end point. In reality, the cat just looks like a small blob that moves around.

Steer Around The Obstacles

Once you start the game rolling, the cat moves forward no matter what you do. You have to steer the cat around the obstacles without hitting anything. If you hit any of the course’s obstacles, then your game is over.

It Kills A Little Time

There is not very much to this game at all and it looks as if the developers didn’t put very much time into designing the game. They could have put in a lot more effort and could have made the game more fun to play or at least a little better to look at. Overall, it is not terrible or unplayable, but is probably not worth your time unless you are bored. If you are the sort of person that really enjoys a frustrating challenge, then this game may be for you. It is tough to criticize what appears to be such a poorly-constructed game outright when there are people out there that claim to be fans of it, so maybe there is something about the game that some people find very appealing.

Snakes On A Game

The Cat That Got The Milk is mildly reminiscent of the old Snake game that people used to play on their mobile phones, yet the Snake game is probably worthy of more praise. The game can become frustrating because even though the levels start out very easy, they do become almost impossibly difficult as you have to negotiate your way through very small gaps or around tight curves. If you have time to kill, then by all means give the game a go, otherwise there is not very much for you to get excited about and it will not knock your socks off.
